collaboration with Trust Riots at 804 Noise Fest in Richmond (w/ Nautical
Almanac, Caution Curves, Harm Stryker, Lust Ionics, and more)
The
804noise Fest is an all day experimental, noise & multi-media festival
held each year in Richmond, Virginia showcasing experimental & noise
artists mainly from Virginia along side a handful of special out of
town
guests. All artists perform for the sake of exposure and community growth
and proceeds go back into the 804noise community to help fund future
events and the 804noise community record label.
The 3rd Annual 804noise South Eastern Experimental & Noise Festival
will
be held on Sunday October 16th at the Art Works Gallery. This years
festival features over 19 experimental and noise artists and
collaborations, visual artwork from local artists; information tables
from
local radical and independent organizations, and a label expo featuring
independent experimental and noise labels from across the country. On
Saturday October 15th, Chop Suey Books will host a series of 804noise
workshops on the subjects of circuit bending, community organizing,
an
open source resource optimized for producing noise, and more.
